Friday 10th – Saturday 18th July
It’s FCYC’s 60th Anniversary this year and we’re celebrating in style! Sign up now and you could be one of 60 campers at OS this year! You can look forward to all the usual activities like Alton Towers, a trip to the Trafford Centre, go-karting, swimming, capture the tattie, and so much more! You’ll have the opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones, and most of all we’re looking forward to top-quality Bible teaching, getting to know Jesus better, and being enthused to tell others about His great gospel.
It’s going to be massive and the demand is high, so sign up quickly to make sure you don’t miss out! Can’t wait to see you all there!
Andy & Caireen Robertson
Emma & Davi de Paula
Age: S4 – S6 (mixed)
Andy and Caireen live and work in Dundee. Andy is the minister of the Free Church plant in Charleston, Dundee, and Caireen works alongside him and looks after their two wee boys. Andy grew up in Dundee and Caireen in Inverness. They both studied in Dundee (notice the theme) – Andy’s degree is in computer animation and Caireen studied Primary Teaching.
They met as campers many years ago and have been part of the Oswestry Senior team as leaders for many years. They both love camp; the gospel-centred teaching and discussions, the friendships that are formed and, of course, the activities!
Andy is a Hibee, plays guitar, and was in a samba band that played for the queen! Caireen doesn’t have a musical bone in her body, but she’s currently into listening to nursery rhymes on repeat which her wee boys are delighted about! She loves upcycling furniture, and only watches films with happy endings.
Davi is from Brazil, via Dundee, leaving sunshine and samba behind aged 9. He is currently the Student Worker at Chalmers Church and is also studying at Edinburgh Theological Seminary. He’s married to Emma, who works for Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship (UCCF). They live in Edinburgh.
Emma hasn’t missed a year of camp since 2004, leading junior girls’ camps and mixed senior camps once she was too old to be a camper! Davi discovered camps later in life – he loves teaching the Bible and discipling the teens that come to camp. Davi and Emma have been part of the Oswestry Senior team for the last few years. Both are passionate about seeing people get to know Jesus better through his Word and love the opportunity that camps give to do this.
Davi likes football, good meat, being cosy and riding his bike. Emma is a passionate Invernesian and spends most of her free time drinking coffee, watching films or trying to find the nearest beach.
