Welcome to FCYC 2020!

Today Free Church Youth Camps (FCYC) release their 2020 brochure which is packed full of summer activities and adventures.

The brochure, which has been sent out to campers and churches, comes in anticipation of the website launch, which goes live on Monday 16th December when registration for FCYC 2020 will officially open.

These week-long residential holidays are aimed at young people aged between 10 and 18 and are held all across the country from Oswestry on the Welsh border to Kincraig in the Scottish Highlands.

The Free Church of Scotland has been running camps since 1960 and over this time thousands of young lives have been positively impacted by the Word of God. In 2019 over 300 places were filled at 11 different camps. To celebrate FCYC’s 60th anniversary in 2020 there will be a special Oswestry Sixty “mega-camp” with 60 places for those in S4 – S6, and the campers can look forward to all their favourite activities including go-karting, swimming, a trip to the Trafford Centre and a visit to Alton Towers.

Places at each camp are limited and FCYC is asking people to register their interest as soon as possible after the new website is launched to be considered for a place.

Camps Administrator Kirsten Macdonald said, “It’s been a busy few months at FCYC, but it’s so exciting to be launching the brochure for next year’s camps!”

“We hope that the invitation to attend camp will be shared far and wide – camps aren’t just for young people in the Free Church – everyone is welcome.”

“We’d love it if you could tell your neighbours and others in the community, give them a brochure, or point them to our new website for more information. And remember to register your interest in attending as soon as possible for the best chance of securing a place!”
