Join us in Renfrew for a week of all things football. From matches, to skills development, to football challenges, we’ll get stuck into the beautiful game together. Alongside training, our leaders can’t wait to share the Good News of Jesus with you, and how their faith shapes every part of their lives – including how they play football!
You can expect a week of fun and laughter with the Junior Football team, a safe place to ask big questions about God, and as always, LOTS of amazing food. So, whether you’re coming along on your own, or bringing friends, if you love football, this is the camp for you!

Bookings will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
This year, FCYC has chosen Pebble as the platform for initial booking. A non-refundable deposit of £25 will be taken when you book.
Once the remaining invoice has been issued via email, payments can be made easily on this website via the Payment page.

Team Leaders
Irene Bayne (Read Bio)
Irene grew up on the opposite side of the world from Scotland in New Zealand, but currently calls Edinburgh home, where she serves with Campus Outreach, a university student ministry.
She’s no stranger to youth camps, having spent many years as a camper, leader, and team leader in New Zealand (Chris Wood’s on fire). Junior Football Camp is her first experience with Christian youth camps in Scotland, and what a great experience!
This is Irene’s fifth year at JF, and she’s thrilled to step into the team leader role, working alongside an amazing team of leaders and cooks to share the love of Jesus through words and actions.
She feels incredibly grateful for the chance to share the hope of Jesus while celebrating the good gifts He’s given us, like the outdoors and football, all while having lots of fun!
When she’s not at camp, Irene loves being outdoors, snapping photos, enjoying a good coffee, and playing or watching sports.
We can’t wait to see you there for all the fun and football!
Samuel Morrison (Read Bio)
Samuel is Glasgow born and bred and, being a lifelong St Mirren supporter, is no stranger to a trip to Renfrew. He is a Third Year Geography student at the University of Glasgow and works as the Church Administrator at Dowanvale Free Church.
Samuel feels incredibly privileged to lead at camp and tell young people all about the good news of Jesus while enjoying one of the greatest gifts God has given us – football. Samuel grew up going to Free Church Youth Camps and can personally attest to their value in shaping young lives and teaching young people the glorious truth of Jesus Christ. Football camp has been a massive part of his life, and he hopes to be able to share that with the campers and help them to create similar, lifelong and life-shaping memories. He can’t wait to step into the co-team-leader role with Irene and is excited for another great year of camp with the rest of the leadership team and the wonderful cooks.
Samuel loves playing and watching football (although sometimes St Mirren and Scotland make that difficult), playing Mario Kart Wii with his flatmates, going on day trips and spending with his friends and family.
He cannot wait to see you at Renfrew for another brilliant year of Junior Football Camp!
